We all know that One Tree Hill fills our dark needs to see someone emotional messed up, or having their live destroyed. However last night’s episode was incredibly moving even stirring my stubborn heart. It is nice to see a cast member pass away as it showed One Tree Hill still has what it take. As of late I was beginning to wonder if all the drama was going to continue to be fluff. The show looked as it was starting to show signs of a sickness of its own. With Lydia finally passing away it really gave the other actors a chance to shine, and shine they did.

While “The Last Day of Our Acquaintance,” kept a great deal of its focus on the family and how they were desperately trying to come to terms with Lydia’s fate. It was touching to see them sharing the good old days and finally saying their goodbyes. Lydia closed one door, but there are so many more that can be open that has renewed my interest in the show.

After realizing Alex and Julian did not have sex she conceals with a very heartfelt apology. If Skills had not stopped the fun then Mouth and Lauren would have had sex. Alex’s costar was the perfect comfort she sought. Of course talking about hook ups we mustn’t forget Alexander and Victoria memorable moment. Last but not least, is Sarah’s clone, Katie. She reveals a few nasty tricks of her own which she uses to slip into Clay’ and Quinn’s relationship.

New episodes of One Tree Hill will begin on April 26.
