Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush)
Brooke is the beautiful, outgoing party girl who is Peyton’s best friend. She was Lucas Scott’s girlfriend before he fell in love with Peyton. Though she was Peyton’s best friend, Peyton and Lucas betrayed him twice, having a relationship behind her back. They eventually became friends again when she accepts that Peyton and Lucas were meant for each other. Because of being always broken hearted, she decides to just focus on business, and created a fashion line named Clothes Over Bro’s which was co-owned by her mother. This business later on became a multi-million dollar company by the time she graduated from high school.
Brooke also has a turbulent relationship with her mother. She was often ignored and neglected by her parents when she was younger, but suddenly become interested in her now that she has a multi-million dollar company to her name. But her mother, Victoria, later handed over 100 % of the company over to Brooke to prove that she cares more about her daughter than money.
In the course of her adult life, Brooke struggled to open her heart because of the heartbreaking relationship she has experienced. She eventually opened up to her boyfriend Julian Baker when she realized that she really loved him and got engaged.
Sophia Bush plays the role of Brooke. Sophia appeared on several films such as Van Wilder, John Tucker Must Die, Stay Alive, and The Narrows. She married co-star Chad Michael Murray on April 2005 but divorced five months later.
