Season 5
The end of season four showed the Tree Hill gang promising to keep in touch with each other and staying the same person as they are, before they went off to pursue their own dreams.

The fifth season fast forwards to the lives of the main characters after college. Now, the characters are in their early 20s, facing adult problems such as serious relationships, career, and etcetera. It is in this season that the cast of One Tree Hill actually looks like their age, and the events actually turn out to be more complicated.
