One Tree Hill started its eight season installment with the episode entitled “asleep at Heaven’s Gate”. In this episode, picks up with the lives of Clay and Quinn after they were shot by Katie Ryan. The two are now fighting for their lives. Meanwhile, Nathan and Haley are preparing to tell Jamie the news about the pregnancy. Victoria was arrested in this episode after it was discovered that Millicent and Victoria falsified facts of the report of profits and lied to the face of an investor. The investors planning to fund the clothing line for men named “Clothes 4Bros.”

In the episode “I Can’t See You, But I Know You’re There”, Alex finally becomes a successful bartender. While Quinn and Clay still lie in coma in the hospital, Jamie and Julian starts to have a stronger bond. Haley is also struggling to cope with the tragedy while Nathan thinks that staying in Tree Hill will help him cope with the tragedy. This episode of One Tree Hill was named after a song by Tom Gabel which was played at the start of the show.

The wedding is fast approaching yet Julian is still looking for his best man. Brooke tries to have a connection with Sylvia while Nathan is struggling with his new found job. Nathan becomes a new agent who decides to have a big leap ahead when he decided to visit Atlanta. Another episode entitled “Mouthful of Diamonds” was named after a song, this time a song by Phantogram.
